New Apartments at Thirlestane
There has been the option to stay at Thirlestane Castle for several years now in the stunning one-bedroom Lauderdale Apartment. We added to this in March this year with the beautiful two-bedroom Maitland Apartment. Now we are excited to share that we have an additional three apartments which will be completed by February. Bookings can be made from today to stay in this luxury accommodation.
Like The Lauderdale and The Maitland, this new self-catering accommodation gives guests the unrivaled opportunity to stay in a Scottish castle and enjoy the tranquil parkland setting. All are furnished in a modern style but include items from the castle collections.
With accommodation now available for up to 18 people in nine separate bedrooms, we are also able to host groups overnight for the first time. Groups can take a couple of apartments or book the whole of the South Wing which will give them exclusive use of the Victorian Kitchen for dining. We can even arrange catering for groups so you don't need to worry about cooking.

The Earl & Countess's Rooms
A three-bedroom apartment in what was once the castle's nurseries. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms and there is an open-plan kitchen/living space. With beautiful views over the parkland it would be an ideal base for a family or group of friends.
A one-bedroom apartment which features an original kitchen range in the open-plan kitchen/sitting room. Also featuring views over the castle's parkland, it is a stunning option for a romantic getaway.
A flexible one-bedroom apartment which is perfect for two people. When booked as part of a larger group booking of the castle, it can sleep four. As the name suggests, it is based in the castle's former Sculleries and has direct access off the courtyard.
All three new apartments will be ready to stay in from 1st February but we can take bookings now.
The Maitland and The Lauderdale still have some availability between now and February if you just can't wait for the new apartments to be completed!
