Disabled Facilities
While we do our best to accommodate the disabled, it has to be kept in mind that Thirlestane is a large and ancient building.

It is approached by a flight of 22 steps and a full tour includes 3 floors and 87 steps.

Disabled visitors may alight at the Castle entrance.

There is a disabled lavatory in the forecourt and the tearoom is accessible by wheelchair.
